A face only a mother could love. The engine is a Fairbanks Morse model Z style D 2hp. I've seen quite a few 1.5hp but not many 2's. It's running without the cover cap on the magneto thanks to the evil silver paint monster that seems to have attacked every piece of old iron I've acquired.
It awaits a flat belt pulley with a jackshaft from e-bay to get things spinning the right direction. I wasn't paying close enough attention and ended up with 6 reverse gears and 2 forward when I hitched up the v-belt to the engine v-pulley. Since it runs the opposite direction of the crank, turning the engine around wasn't going to help.
You can see the belting waiting on the lower pulley that will be just under the frame in front of the left foot plate.
